Financial Services Authority (Seychelles) — Seychelles’ financial services authority; provides offshore licenses with lighter oversight than Tier-1.
Tier-1 regulators — FCA, CySEC, ASIC, BaFin, CFTC — impose strict obligations such as capital adequacy, segregation of client funds and compensation schemes. Offshore licenses do not provide these protections to the same degree.
