What Do the Complaint Categories Mean?

Reports are grouped into six categories. The distribution says more about the nature of a problem than any single complaint:

• 0Withdrawals — requests refused, delayed or made conditional. This is the most serious signal.
• 0Spread / cost — spreads differing from those advertised, unexpected commission or swap.
• 0Position closing — orders not filled, slippage or unilateral closure.
• 1Support — being unable to reach customer service, or receiving no reply.
• 0Bonus — bonus terms blocking withdrawals. In Türkiye, a forex bonus offer is itself a warning sign.
• 0Other — reports that do not fall under the headings above.

What to Do If You Have a Problem

1. Keep screenshots of all correspondence, trade history and payment receipts; platforms can revoke account access.
2. Submit your request to the platform in writing (email) so there is a dated record.
3. If you paid by card, contact your bank for a chargeback before the deadline expires.
4. If the platform is not SPK-authorized, you may file a criminal complaint with the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
5. If it is an SPK-authorized firm, apply to the firm first and then to the SPK if unresolved.
